Home interior influencer, Shelley @simplycornishcosy just made her cosy cornish home that much more inviting with the addition of J2 Flooring NTP54 – Naked Oak Parquet LVT.

Known for her timeless country-inspired interior and soothing neutral palettes, Shelley was on the look out for new flooring that would harmonise perfectly with her aesthetic while elevating the functionality and warmth of her home. Her existing laminate flooring, with its outdated faux wood pattern and orange tones, had not only faded over time but had also become warped, detracting from the cohesive style she wanted to achieve.

To create a seamless flow throughout her home, Shelley chose to update her living room, dining area, kitchen, and hallway flooring. She opted for NTP54 – Naked Oak Parquet LVT, the perfect choice for its light oak colour and natural grain texture. The herringbone pattern brought a traditional touch to her home, blending with her overall aesthetic.

The new flooring created a better room to room flow and the light oak tones tied together the mix of woods, metals, and fabrics in her furnishings. “The rooms now feel brighter and more homely. No matter how I change the decor over years to come, the flooring won’t need to be changed as the style I have chosen is so versatile. I no longer feel embarrassed of my floor or try to cover it up. It now feels like the focal point of the rooms and draws your attention as soon as you walk into the house.”
